What to Expect in the Future

On the Go? Listen to the blog as a podcast.

Hi Everyone,

I just want to say thank you to everyone who has signed up for emails from the site. When new posts come out you should receive a link to them. At the moment we are in a period of transition from my old personal blog site to this one which has a unifying purpose.

Some of you reading this are actually from my old blog. All of you in this camp should have gotten my “Changes Ahead” post that I put out on Sunday, August 18th. Something I wrote there but am once more saying here is that I’m not going to be posting on there anymore. At the very least the content I post there, if I begin again at all, will no longer be the Thoughtful Thursdays Posts. Expect me to post a lot more about my personal hobbies and random book-related work since it is meant to be an author’s website. I did not intend it to birth a ministry page but God works things out in ways we don’t expect to happen.

If you’ve enjoyed the Thoughtful Thursdays posts I highly encourage you to share them with others via the Isaiah 1:18 Ministries website links. Or you can use the share feature on your podcast app of choice. How you share them is in your court completely I just want it out there for others to grow from.

Anyway, here are my current plans for this site. Since I didn’t start posting blogs to this website till 2023 I have a bit of catch-up work to do. (Work I maybe should have been doing over the past few months if we want to engage in some constructive self-criticism.) This work consists of transferring the old blog posts that can qualify for Thoughtful Thursdays to Isaiah 1:18 Ministries.

Any posts from before I started to produce podcasts will be reviewed, reworked, and then republished as if they are new posts. But for the posts from 2022, I will be doing something different. Those were already written in BlogCast format but before Isaiah 1:18 Ministries was up and running. The work for these is very minimal. All have to do boils down to a website equivalent of copy and paste from one to the other.

As I write this it is occurring to me that you might get email notifications about those posts as well. Should this occur and you notice an inaccuracy in the dates between the publication and the date you get the email there is nothing to worry about. Since I am marking them with the date they were originally published on.

Hopefully, by the time 2025 rolls around I will have enough BlogCasts scheduled so they are released consistently until all the posts from 2020 and 2021 have been released. After this, my plan is to work on turning all of the audio episodes into videos for YouTube and Rumble.

I do not want to make plans beyond what I’ve stated above because things can change and impact how far I am able to progress in those plans. But the most important part of any plan is writing it down and having partners in accountability. Something all of you unknowingly have agreed to become by being someone who depends on me to do what I’ve said I will do.

Perhaps the subject of accountability would be a good topic to cover once this whole process is completed by the start of 2026. My final thing to say before signing off is that if there are subjects you want me to cover for a Thoughtful Thursday please let me know using the Contact Us form that we have on the site.
